Customs Auction Goods

Goods whose customs formalities are not completed, that are abandoned or that become liable to liquidation are put up for sale by auction. We buy these lots, sort them and offer them to wholesale buyers. What ten years of experience amounts to is judging which lot is genuinely worth having by looking at the goods themselves rather than at the auction notice.

Product groups we work with

Electronic products, white goods, hand tools, hardware, industrial products and various other commercial product groups. The portfolio changes from one auction to the next, so telling us in advance which product group you are looking for allows us to notify you when it comes up.

Lot selection

Auction lots are usually offered with mixed contents. Pre-sale inspection is the only stage that shows whether what is written on the list matches what comes out of the box. Packaging condition, year of manufacture, model and missing parts are established at this stage, and the bid level is set accordingly.

Sorting and grading

The lot that has been bought is separated by product type and condition: packaging intact, packaging damaged but product intact, partially damaged. Each grade has a different buyer and a different price. Selling a mixed lot at a single price means giving away sound goods below what they should fetch.

Wholesale

We sell wholesale only; we do not sell retail. Depending on the product group, lots are offered to wholesalers, retail chains, exporters or corporate buyers. Quantity and delivery schedule are planned according to the buyer's capacity.

Delivery and documentation

Delivery is made from the warehouse where the goods are held. The transport plan is drawn up jointly according to volume and weight. Sales documents are issued and handed to the buyer to be presented on resale.
