International Product Sourcing

Some products either cannot be found domestically at all or, because they depend on a single source, arrive both expensive and late. In such cases we take the requirement to international supply channels. It is enough for you to tell us the product group, the quantity and the technical specifications you need.

Defining the requirement

Research starts with an accurate definition. If the brand and model are known, they are searched for directly; if they are not, the technical specifications, the intended use and whether an equivalent is acceptable are clarified. When this step is skipped, the quotations that come back cannot be compared.

Source research

Manufacturer and supplier research is carried out through suitable supply channels. Samples, technical documents and conformity certificates are obtained. When more than one source is found, price, delivery time and minimum order quantity are set side by side.

Cost and lead time

In overseas sourcing the product price alone means little; freight, customs formalities, insurance and delivery time are calculated together. We state the total cost and a realistic delivery date before the decision is taken.

Special product research

For products that have no equivalent on the market, are produced in small numbers or have to comply with a particular standard, we run the research specifically for that request. If nothing is found, we report the outcome and the reason for it; we do not leave the matter open.

Sustainable supply

Beyond one-off sourcing, we keep the source on record in case the same product is needed again. The second purchase is then completed in far less time than the first.
